Leicester's
2nd annual City Blues & Acoustic Festival
runs from Friday 20th April to Saturday 5th May culminating
in a fantastic all day event at De
Montfort Hall, featuring over 30 acts across
three stages.
The
inspiration behind the festival is to recognise
and celebrate two fantastic, thriving genres, those
of the blues and acoustic music. Many
venues in and around Leicester will
be taking part and hosting events showcasing a
wealth of local, national and international
talent.
The
highlight of the fifteen day festival is The All
Dayer at the city's famous De Montfort Hall, which
brings together a varied and invigorating line-up
that captures all aspects of the contemporary blues
and acoustic scenes.
Brace
yourselves for
a celebration
of music, bursting with vitality and transcending the
bounds of the usual tired labels. Music that is primal,
raw, soulful and heart breakingly beautiful.
